About Me
Hello, I’m Ellie Woodward, a qualified counsellor with a passion for supporting people through life’s challenges. My journey into counselling began with a strong interest in psychology and a desire to help people feel understood and empowered. Over the years, I’ve worked within the NHS supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health difficulties, as well as volunteering in schools and research projects focused on wellbeing. These experiences have shaped the way I work: with warmth, empathy, and a genuine respect for each person’s unique story.

I offer counselling for adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, or simply a sense of being “stuck.” My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic models to tailor sessions to your needs. At the heart of my practice is the belief that you are the expert in your own life — my role is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, and discover new ways forward.

Outside of my work, I am someone who values creativity, learning, and connection. I bring this same curiosity and openness into the counselling room, offering you a space where you can feel heard, accepted, and supported at your own pace.
